Today was our first day of CSA! Megan and I purchased a share from Bull Run Farm. This week we got green onions, garlic scapes, lettuce, pac choi (aka bok choy), tatsoi, oregano, Italian basil, and sorrel.

Looking forward to the weeks to come! Looking at the seeds planted for this year’s harvest, I don’t recognize most of the names! I started a spreadsheet in Google Docs matching up the common names to the lesser-known names. For example, meteor is a type of pea (similar to sugar snap pea), table queen is a variety of acorn squash, and snowcrown is a cauliflower!
