We have one venue option now (our friends’ backyard) and we are excited! What better place to celebrate God’s good work in our lives than the great outdoors which He created?
I don’t know about whether that is about the bride specifically, or the wedding. I found more hits about “socially responsible wedding.” And does that mean ‘responsible about people’, or ‘responsible about the environment’? I confused myself when thinking about that term.
When researching a bit at the library for decorating Emily’s wedding, there were some books about eco-conscious weddings, but they still required either a ton of work or a ton of money. In the end I was mainly just a fan of raiding Goodwill for all it was worth (e.g. vases).
